This sport is the oldest one. And each nation previously had its own technical features.

“Hand-to-hand combat- not for girls”, – many guys consider and joke that as a self-defense girls best learn to run. But, as always, there are daredevils who debunk universal misconceptions. This is not just self-defense, it is also an active attack.

Regina Maksimova, a student of Aslan Zeynullayev, twice became the champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan in hand-to-hand combat(60 and 65 kg). In 2017, she won the Asian Games in the 65kg weight category. After three fights, she proved that she is the strongest, winning the only gold medal from the representatives of the national team of Kazakhstan.

In 2018, in Minsk, on European championship in hand-to-hand combat Akmola athlete became the bronze medalist of the European Championship (65 kg).

Regina Maksimova is a bronze medalist of the World Youth Championship 2018 (60 kg); silver medalist of the World Championship 65+; champion of the Cup of Kazakhstan in 2018; champion of the Cup of the Supreme commander of the Republic of Kazakhstan; champion of Kazakhstan among youth 60 kg; champion of the International tournament, champion of the Olympics in Zhekpe-Zhek.

Regina graduated from high school № 21. In 2014 she entered the faculty of physical culture and sports of Kokshetau University named after A. Myrzakhmetov. She successfully graduated in 2018.

Today Regina Aleksandrovna Maksimova works as the trainer of hand-to-hand fight. And the will to win will definitely help her and her students to achieve the goal.
